When Echo and I were dating we both were into sector9 long boards and went on a lot of “skate dates.” Before she and I met I was really into downhill skating and would often take a few friends looking for random hills around the island. After we got married we kept the skate date tradition alive and after our first kid Adelaide was born we took her out to get pushed around too. Sadly, both boards have sat in the corner for quite some time now and the bushings are all rotted out, the bearings are rusted out, and the tires are all chipped to pieces. It would be dope to have some fresh new boards to keep the “skate date” alive in our family and teach the kids the love of long board skating.

Because I am the tallest kid on byuh campus, and I think other people deserve to see me turf it a few times to bring laughter into their lives.
I deserve to win because March 1st is the day before my birthday but even better than that if I won I would give it to my Enzo because he REALLY wants a skateboard for his birthday (also in March).
So one time, there were these 2 guys who lived in the Cayman Islands and they longboarded through the streets of Georgetown. They would go off 3 stairs and thought they were cooler than the guy who created cool at the time, Rob Machado. But then one day a talking turtle and his turtle friend came up to them and told them he was sick of getting around town at such a slow pace, so these 2 guys gave them their longboards. The turtles were super stoked and they jammed around Georgetown on longboards and were seen with huge smiles. One of those two guys now lives in Hawaii. One day he was surfing an insanely fun East side spot and a talking monk seal came up to him and said he was sick of not being able to shred up the wonderful waves that frequented his home so this guy gave him his SICK Raynor surfboard, boombox nugget model. The monk seal was then able to shred the waves on that board and every time he was seen on the surfboard, he had a HUGE smile and was stoked.
If that guy were to get 2 Jaseboards, he would shred one of the boards and if he were to run into a talking mongoose that was bummed on getting around slowly, or maybe a talking pig (since he will probably run into them skating the rad new Malekahana Bike/Walk/Skate path) he can give the other board to his animal friend. And that way he would still have a board to shred.

Yay! Pick Me! Pick Me! First off, who isnt deserving? No one right.. we all deserve one, but I would be ecstatic and grateful if I won a couple!
Why I deserve to win? I am the proud mother of four boys and I love skateboarding, but I have no board! I have sacrificed and worked hard to set an example of work and love, but I would love to show them the world of skateboarding too!

Actually, let me tell you why Ingrid deserves to win these boards. I met lovely, lively Ingrid in Utah last summer to help her and her four boys move to Georgia, where Ingrid’s new husband would soon be stationed by the Army. When I met her four blond boys, they instantly reminded me of my old neighbors, the Nortons, very active, super-friendly, and total cuties. When I introduced my skateboard into the mix, it was magic. They LOVED it! They were even good about taking turns and sharing. Maybe I shouldn’t have let them ride it in the house (still sorry about the hole in the wall, Ingrid) but it was the perfect outlet for all their energy.
Ingrid has been amazingly strong in her endeavor to raise her boys herself for several years. Fortunately, she doesn’t have to go it alone anymore. To know Ingrid and her boys is to love them. I think they’ll end up in Hawaii one day, or maybe I just hope. At any rate, right now I hope she gets these boards. If not these free ones right now, I’m going to get them a board when I can afford it myself. <3

I am an advocate for MOSULA TAPUSOA he’s about 7 yrs old soon to be 8. You gotta get him one and have him promise you a pic of him riding down temple road with nothing but his board shorts with his flourescent orange hair (from his irish side of the family) that is about 3feet long, letting it loose and flying free in the air generated by the speed of his downhill trek. I would LOVE these jaseboards for my hubby, Brady, and our oldest boy Tayson. Brady had a long board in Hawaii, but since had to give it back to a friend and now Tayson thinks longboards are the COOLEST and I would love to see Brady be able to share something with Tayson that he loved doing while growing up in Hawaii, since we unfortunately can’t be there to allow them the experience of living there.

Let us, for a moment, consider the pros and cons of giving these boards to my humble self. Now that they have been considered clearly the pros overpower the cons and therefore I can see no reason why any time should be wasted in another decision (also, technically this is two sentences thanks to run-ons, commas, and parenthesis). .
Dude, when I saw these boards on the video, I started crying. I had a killer girlfriend that use to go skating with me. She died from cancer last year, but on her death bed she wanted to skate with me one more time before she passed on… I felt the spirit of my babe talk to me when I saw your boards. I would love love love to be able to sport the Jaseboard! No doubt I would pee my pants if I got my hands on these babies. And my very much thought out reasons for wanting these boards are:
1. “Free” and “Jaseboard” are my two favorite words. Put them together and: my mind= blown.
2. My board broke and I’m a college student who lives on Ramen Noodles and water, and will be broke until the day I pay off student loans. So a Jaseboard would be MUCH appreciated, my friend.

I don’t deserve a Jaseboard but my son who is 7 has been longing for just a board. He was born on Oahu and always asked to go back to the beach. I would say a Jaseboard would be just the substitute for this land bound kid. The freedom that i feel from longboarding cannot be described, and the price of longboarding is definitely out of my price range. If i were to receive a Jaseboard, I would love it and send some sick pictures back once this dang snow is gone.

While I was working in Korea for the United States Air Force, I saw a guy who was using a longboard to get around everywhere. I told myself that I was going to get one someday. Someday is still to come. Too many bills… not enough tarps!

I have been longboarding for 6 years now, in Slidell, LA, the flattest of the flat land, and i was the only rider for the first 3 years of my longboarding career; additionally in the past 4 years I have inspired a large group of people in my town and places I have visited to take longboarding. Despite my experience in longboarding, my 6 year old board can no longer compete with my friends newer boards, and I feel its time for a new board from an up and coming brand to progress my skills and advertise Jase Boards.

I don’t deserve a Jaseboard, but that is why I’d give them to my husband and his brother. My husband works really hard, then comes home and hangs out with our daughter. His job has him working far from the ocean, and I know he misses surfing a ton – this would be just what he needs to tide him over until we can move back to the water. Hubby never complains about doing the dishes (which he always ends up doing). He surprised me with an awesome Valentines Day present, I’d love to surprise him with a new Jaseboard. He’s awesome.

I just broke my old longboard by demonstrating “how it’s totally not going to break if I jump on it like this”, so I could use a functioning board (or two).
Oh, that’s funny Roy! (Though I’m sure it’s no fun not having a functioning board.) You remind me of my cousin who is an avid outdoor person and was telling me with disbelief that the oar for his kayak broke as he was pushing himself into the bank with it. He showed me the broken end and was explaining that “it’s super strong and flexible, it can bend all the way back like this without breaking, see?!” and he bent the other end back and snapped that too! It was hilarious, I was in stitches for ages and he was just so hecked off with his dud oar.
You know what – I’ve never skated so can’t lay claim to knowing the rush of speeding down a hill with the wind whipping past me. BUT I WANT TO after seeing that awesome video; being a mother of three I am so in love with never ceasing to have fun in life!!!!!!

I have two boys that would LOVE more than anything something so awesome! They deserve it the have had a hard year, My 12 year old had the right side of his face torn off in a bad accident. He is looking forward to having an awesome summer this year after being cooped up this past summer.

I deserve a Jaseboard because I just fell in love with it (with some delay). I loved longboarding in Spain 5 years ago when I was on surf camp and now, after being confronted with longboarding again (http://www.youtube.com/user/LoadedNewsletter#p/c/5921C7A1C8C884C7/13/P307uzCmNgo), I finally feel like doing something about it!

What up world. My new hobby is right in front of my eye and I can’t wait any longer. I am headed to college this year and love surfing I can’t afford a sick longboard skateboard because paying for college sucks and I would love to be able to cruise to class on a sick longboard! My roommate totally agrees and I saw the awesome tarp surfing video on YouTube and I will hopefully be able to get something like that started on campus!

Guys I am going nuts at home! I’m on eBay everyday trying to find a board that I can afford, but nothing ever shows up! Its completely killing me that I don’t have a board! My dad is the same, he would love a longboard but we just cant afford any! My cousins have longboards and they were the ones who got me addicted, they are trying to find a cheap board for me as well so we can go cruising together.
If I won the two Jaseboards I would give one to my dad and go riding everyday and enjoy the craftsmanship that has gone into the creation of these boards. When I see a longboard I see the time and patience gone into creating a board as beautiful as the ones Jaseboards make! I don’t see longboards as a measly piece of wood with a couple of trucks and wheels stuck to it. I see a longboard as a piece of art and a source of freedom!

Longboarding is my life, I have even began to make my own recently, giving some of them to kids in my neighborhood so they can enjoy the experience that has had such a large impact on my life. I am not the deserving one… But I have two kids in my neighborhood who are young teens and sickly talented at anything they do. They don’t have much money, and I think winning these to give to them anonymously would be incredible. They have ridden longboards and bikes, but it’s mostly hand-me-down stuff.

I deserve a Jaseboard because I am an avid longboard rider at my college campus in Claremont, CA and if I were to win a free Jaseboard I would spread the word to all of the other longboarders on campus about the board/brand. I also work in a bike shop on campus where, aside from repairing bikes, I repair my friends skateboards when they stop rolling smoothly. I work to keep the longboard culture alive on my college campus, such as giving lessons on how to longboard to those friends of mine who want to learn how to ride. Chances are good that if I got a free Jaseboard, I would give it to the next person who asks me to teach them how to longboard, because, well, share the stoke.

I have skated all my life and at 200lbs and 6’2″ I cant ride a park board anymore because I need a larger, more smooth ride; I want to maintain my proportionality with skating. I think a Jaseboard would help me find that balance.

I came to Nor-cal all the way from Sweden to pursue my dream of playing football and longboarding, right now I’ve only fulfilled my football part and now I need a longboard since a truck hit me and ran over the longboard and it broke. It’s not the only thing that’s broke, I’m broke too that’s why I would love a new board, and the second board I would send to my fosterkid in Argentina so he could learn to ride.
